You don't need to mill it twice, simply tighten the gap. it's easy to do, you loosen the two set screws on the second (non-driven roller) side and adjust with the knurled knobs to move the roller closer.

I also ran some grain through my 2-roller mill with this same 0.033" gap to do a qualitative/visual comparison. ALSO, don't set the gap wider than 0.045". You're wasting your time at a gap wider than that, and the mill might not feed properly, if it's bigger than that.

I typically get about 75% efficiency. One other note - if you really want to increase the OG, you should be able to do a reiterated mash.
